Accessibility Statement

XConnect is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including candidates who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. This page describes what we've done so far, where we fall short today, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.
Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project: as we add or change features on this site, we review them against these guidelines and correct issues as they're found.

What this site already does
  • Keyboard navigation for browsing jobs, filtering, and the application form, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
  • Descriptive labels on form fields, including inline error messages tied to the specific field that needs attention.
  • Live, screen-reader-announced status updates when job search results change (aria-live regions).
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive controls, checked against WCAG AA thresholds.
  • Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting — animations and transitions are turned off for people who've asked for that.
  • Resizable text: the layout supports browser zoom up to 200% without losing content or functionality.
Known limitations

We're aware of a few areas that need more work, including:

  • The in-browser photo and video capture steps of the application form rely on camera/microphone access and visual framing guides, which may be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. If this is a barrier for you, contact us using the details below and we'll arrange an alternative way to complete your application.
  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g. Google Sign-In) is outside our direct control, though we select vendors that publish their own accessibility commitments where possible.
